Natural Skills at Videogames

Why is it that some people are naturally skilled at a videogame even though they've never played it once? Because with something like sports they all go hand in hand, because if you're moderately athletic then you can be decent at most sports.

So why is it that I can play a game for the first time that my friend has played forever yet I'm still better than him at it?

I don't know. I was naturally skilled at GH, with a woman -1 on easy within an hour after I got it. And have you noticed that other mod's usually keep to their selfs? But I'm not like that, I can have power and be your friend at the same time.

But about the skills. What makes some people so much better than other people? I guess it could be that some people have good hand-eye coordination, and others don't.

Probably true. Because I noticed after I got good at Guitar Hero I got better at other games, even simple flash games

Exactly! But for me it's opposite. After getting GH, thats about all I play. Now right before I got it, I had a collage football game. I would kill the opponents 120 - 18. I got GH, and now I get like 30 point's... My 5 year old cousin KILLED me at Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008.

Dude that sucks...I used to play more games but now I just keep it to a few outside of Guitar Hero.

I mean i use to be incredible at Metroid Games. But when Guitar Hero came out it all went downhill from there.

I also found whenever you're playing a game that's not Guitar Hero but you're still listening to music off the series, you do better. Maybe it's just me?
